Privacy Policy

Pausd is built by Creayo Dev LLC. This policy explains what data Pausd collects, how it's used, and your rights.

Short version: your data stays on your device. We don't collect it, sell it, or use it for advertising.

Data stored on your device

All items you pause, your savings history, categories, triggers, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by sharing a savings card to social media).

Anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting

Pausd collects anonymous usage events, crash reports, and basic device diagnostics to improve the app. This includes: app opens, session duration, feature usage (pauses created, decisions made, insights viewed, share cards generated), conversion events (paywall views, plan selections, purchases), onboarding progress, crash stack traces, and device info (iOS version, app version, device model, locale). Events are tied to a random device identifier that can't be linked to your identity.

No item names, prices, categories, triggers, photos, or personal spending data is ever sent. We collect what you do in the app, not what you buy or want to buy.

You can disable all analytics and crash reporting anytime in Settings > Privacy > "Share usage data and crash reports."

What we don't collect

  • No account or login required
  • No email, name, or personal information collected
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No data sold to third parties
  • No item names, prices, or spending data sent to any server

Subscription processing

Pausd uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated by your device and your subscription status from Apple. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or Apple ID. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple

Apple processes your payment when you subscribe. Apple's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at apple.com/privacy. We don't receive your payment details.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Pausd schedules local notifications on your device for cooldown timers and check-ins. These are processed entirely on-device by iOS. No notification data is sent to any server.

Siri and Shortcuts

Pausd supports Siri Shortcuts for adding pauses and checking savings. Siri interactions are processed by Apple according to their privacy policy. We don't receive Siri data.

Data deletion

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and cancel Pausd.

Children

Pausd isn't designed for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and update the app's App Store listing.
